A message from Owner Jim Mitchell…

My father, Arthur S. Mitchell, founded Beverly Overhead Garage Door in 1949. He was a hard worker and fair businessman who prided himself on the quality and service he gave all of his customers. These values are stronger than ever in our company today.

As the youngest of seven children, I grew up learning and working in this business, (or should I say living and breathing it!) and in 1986 I purchased the company from Dad, who remained active in the business until his passing in 1998.

You could say that I'm obsessed with customer satisfaction for each and every account we service, from our residential clients to our many commercial accounts. I personally inspect each job, and greatly value my team of personally-trained service technicians who each have 15 to 30 years of experience.

On a personal note, my wife Kim and I are the proud parents of very active boys, Kory and James (Jimmy), as well as fraternal twins, Jacob and Jasmine, born in March 2003. I enjoy coaching Beverly Youth Hockey, as well as riding my motorcycle, hunting, and fishing.
